Day 6 - Bryce Canyon

Well, don't know when we'll have internet connection again, so I thought I'd write a morning blog before we leave Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort.

First to wake - Teresa and I. We did some laundry and got breakfast ready. She and I had a nice quiet romantic breakfast while looking into the hills. Toward the end, Abby joined us.
Lauren and Katie are waking now. Katie has been a bit sick the last couple of days...but praise God, she had no problems at all during all the hiking yesterday. Symptoms started on our way back home, she went straight to bed and has been sleeping ever since (13 hours+). She says she's feelin' about 70% right now as she wakes. If opportunity allows, I'll edit this post later (9a our time now - 11a yours). Adios amigos. Mitchell

Hey Bowyers!

I am sitting at home relaxing a minute and enjoying your vacation blog. All the pics bring back great memories of our trip. I am a little jealous that you got to spend time in Zion Nat. Park. It was raining the day we stopped there and we were short on time. Some elderly ladies had just recently been washed down stream by a flash flood. They all survived thank goodness. I am glad nothing like that happened to you :-)

It is so nice seeing your pictures and hearing how you are doing. It makes my heart all warm and fuzzy.

Sara said to tell Abby she misses her bff.

Hi Lauren and Katie! I will miss you at XLF tomorrow. Hugs and kisses!

Love to you all - Carol

Hey Bowyers,
I know what you mean about the differences between the GC and Zion. One perspective is from the top view and the other is from down inside. Mitchell did you get to go "into "The Narrows?" Both are amazing in very different ways. Bryce is even more different. You could almost convince yourself that you are not on plant Earth. Rest up and drink lots of water. Pray that Katie is 100% soon and no one else gets sick. Love to everyone. Looking forward to the next post.

I submitted my public health paper so am relieved majorly. The title is "Developing Vaccines for Chronic Disease Prevention with Phytochemicals." Let me know when you're home!

Every summer? Mitchell's dreams for "down the road" are not small.
